What is a
Cardumen?
A group of individual fish from different species that approach each other to a certain distance and move in a synchronized manner for strategic and survival purposes.
About
Origin
In response to a wild and wonderfully changing global environment, we felt there was a need to rethink how we support our partners, clients and allies to contribute to a future that is truly positive for people and nature.
We strongly believe that the old ways of working in silos, in consulting houses, driven by self-interest and short-term commercial gain, is not going to get us where we need to go.
To this end we have created the seed of an idea for a new way of working, as part of a collaborative initiative where we share ideas to uncover solutions.
This seed is Cardumen.

About
Our
Manifesto
Cardumen is a collective.
It is multifaceted, passionate and social. It is surprising and constantly adapting, just like nature.
Cardumen is a network.
It believes in collective intelligence and collaboration. It values and elevates the voices of local knowledge holders.
Cardumen is a creative.
It wants to imagine a new system and to move far and fast beyond awareness into a place of pragmatic actions and tangible results.
Cardumen is not right.
Cardumen is imperfect. Cardumen is learning. It makes mistakes and recognises it. Cardumen tries its best to address them and grow.
Cardumen believes in diversity.
Biological diversity, cultural diversity, language diversity, opinion diversity. Diversity is what makes the world a fascinating place.
Cardumen acts.
As an heterogeneous group of fish, of different sizes and colors, that move together, with a common goal.
Cardumen grows like a tree.
With new shoots, deep roots, big branches and high canopy. It loses its leaves to become stronger, year after year.
Cardumen shares.
Its skills and capacity to achieve long-term outcomes for nature holistically.
Cardumen
is a beautiful
story. move together
